Contactors Without Compromise

Techna’s new KTEC A.C. Contactor range, thermal overloads and accessories are certified to TUV (EN 60947–4-1), UL508 Listed/Recognised, and are CSA-C22.2 certified.

Some 20 models provide AC3 power ratings from 3.5kW (13A) to 160kW (600A) at 240 V and 5.5kW (7A) to 315kW (500A) at 660V and the range is rated for AC1 from 20A to 660A.

Standard stock A.C. coil voltages are 24V, 48V, 110/120V, 220/240V and 440V with many other voltages available to order.

The range is complimented by Techna’s OTEC range of Thermal Overload Relays offering 27 adjustable settings from 0.19 - 0.31A, up to 400A - 600A, over voltage ranges 200-220V, 380-440V and 500-550V, for direct on-line motor starting.

A full range of accessories includes mechanical interlocks, spare voltage coils and auxiliary contact blocks in front-mounting configurations of 2NO, 1NO/1NC, (2 pole), 4NO, 3NO/1NC, 2NO/2NC, (4 pole) and a side-mounting 2 pole version in 1NO/1NC.

This economically priced range utilises Techna’s special contact design which results in increased contact surface area, so providing extended life and reliability.

Ktec Contactors and Overloads

Another highly successful product is Techna’s KTEC Contactor range which together with complimentary thermal overloads and a full range of accessories, has proven to provide exceptionally cost-effective solutions, with TUV, UL and CSA certification for use across Europe and North America.

The full range includes a comprehensive choice of contactors with AC3 power ratings ranging from 1.5kW up to 65kW at 240V and 3kW to 132kW at 660V. All the contactors are available with a variety of AC coil voltages starting at 12V and going up to 440V.

To compliment the range, KTEC contactors are available with adjustable OTEC Overload Relays ranging from 0.19A through to 600A, and a full range of accessories including: auxiliaries, mechanical interlocks, coil suppressor modules and more.
