Ancillary Equipment for Wire and Cable Production - Air Wipes (SEC Series)

These air wipes remove cooling water and other unwanted low viscosity liquids from the surface of wires, insulated wires or cables at high speed in wire and cable machinery such as, wire drawing machines, continuous resistance annealers or extrusion lines.

The SEC Series air wipes guarantee low air consumption. However, it is recommended that the air supply line should be fitted with a regulator valve for controlling the airflow. This enables adjustment of air consumption to the lowest possible value whilst retaining consistent adequate wiping action.

The counter current airflow removes the unwanted liquids at the entrance thanks to the internal grooves.

These air wipe generate less than 85 dB at a distance of one metre in all directions.

  and O-ring closing system.
- Ceramic guides at the entrance and exit.
