Grounding (Earth) Terminal Blocks and
Clamps for Neutral/Earth Connection Terminal Blocks
International standards demand fulfilment of stringent
conditions from earthing connections wiring systems. The connection
should have very low contact resistance and should follow green / yellow
colour coding.
TTEC Series Earth Terminals have marking recesses provided for
identification by using marking tags. The grounding terminals can be
mounted along with other terminals on the same rail. This eliminates
separate bus bar. The TTEC Series Earth Terminal Block that has very low
contact resistance with vibration proof grounding. The terminal is
designed to match with the profile of Feed Through Terminal and can be
mounted on Din 35 / Din 35 - 15 deep rail. The TTEC Series Miniature
Earth Terminal Block that has very low contact resistance with vibration
proof grounding. The terminal can be mounted on Din 15 rail.
Special features of TTEC Earth Terminals, Earth Terminal Block and
Miniature Earth Block are:
- Unbreakable Polyamide 6.6 housing in green / yellow colour.
- Versatile tin-plated foot in brass for grounding to achieve very low
contact
resistance.
- Vibration proof grounding can very easily be achieved by operating
central screw.
- High torque clamping yokes to accept any types of wires easily.
- Profile of the terminal matches with the TTEC CMT4 Micro Terminal.

Certain electrical systems require proper termination of neutral / earth
conductor to a conveniently located bus bar. TTEC Neutral / Earth Clamp
Series, with bus bar and bus bar supports are ideal for such
applications. NEB10 (10 x 3 mm) and NEB6 (6 x 6 mm) tin plated copper
bus bars are available in one metre length.
NES plastic support with fixing screws for holding 10 x 3 mm and 6 x 6
mm bus bar makes placing of bus bar an easy task. Bus bar up to 200 mm
length should be supported at ends by two bus bar supports. For bus bar
exceeding 200 mm length, it is recommended to provide intermediate bus
bar support. Easy to operate CENC clamp secures wire to the bus bar.
Techna offers TTEC CENC4/16/35 connections with green colour caps with
marking tag recess, facilitating identification of neutral and earth
connection. Choice of blue, grey and black colour caps available on
request.
Note: Current carrying capacity of the bus bar should be taken into
account while connecting loads.
