Disconnect and Test Terminal Blocks
For measuring, control and regulatory circuits, Disconnect and Test
Terminals are an ideal choice. The terminals provide clear functional
advantage for devices having utility instruments and associated
transformers. There are four versions of TTEC Disconnect and Test
Terminals available:
In TTEC CDTTU, disconnection is achieved by means of slide link operated
with a screw driver.
In TTEC CDTTU-SH, disconnection is achieved by means of slide link
operated with a screw driver.
In TTEC CKT4U, disconnection is achieved by lifting lever operating
knife contact.
TTEC CSDL4U Hinged type terminal incorporates connecting link in place
of fuse link.
The TTEC CDTTU-SH Terminals are ideal for use in current transformer
applications when it is mandatory to keep the secondary side shorted at
any point while taking current measurements.
These terminals have specially designed socket headed screws which act
as test monitoring points.
Important: The disconnecting device is not suitable for interrupting
load. The supply must be switched off before operating the slide link /
lifting the lever / moving the hinged carrier.
