This type of terminals are preferred for connections that involve safety
requirement to ESI (Electric Supply Industry) standards, British CEGB
regulations and NTPC application. The terminal blocks have built-in
spring loading in addition to high torque screw clamps.
The terminal has specially designed current bar for the correct location of
wire having a hook type lug. This effectively prevents any kind of
loosening of wire even when screw clamps are not tightened.
The housing is made of High Grade Melamine which has insulation
properties in accordance with CEGB regulations and fulfils the
thickness criteria (should be greater than 10 mm) as our terminal block is 11 mm. Specially designed marker holding recess can accommodate
'K' type and Insert type marking tags.
Cross connections can be achieved with the aid of shorting links, studs
and sleeves. Specially designed 'Knock Out' at the centre must be
removed to facilitate permanent shorting.
